Grounding Meditation

You can do this anytime you need to go back to “you”, especially when you are overwhelmed, confused or feeling powerless. I wanted to do a chakra balancing/grounding meditation, but instead of doing the usual type I discovered this on my own instead. I hope it helps!

Find your unique energy signature and take yourself there – this is one way you can ground yourself.

In a meditative state, allow life force to come through you. Imagine a fire coming out of your chest. What color is the fire? What’s the temperature? If you can associate it with an object, what would it be? Notice your surroundings. Where are you? What kind of place is it? How does it look like? What color is the wall? What shapes are there? Are there any distinct objects in space? Do you notice any kind of movement around you? Is there a particular scent in the area/room?

Notice if a being comes to you. Who is this being? What is their energy? Are they talking to you? What message are they communicating with you?

How do you feel? If you can describe it in one word, what word would it be?

Stay in this meditative state until you can feel calmness take over you, the kind of calmness that comes as a result of embodying your power.
